Today, Congresswoman and U.S. Senate candidate Loretta Sanchez announced the endorsement of key members of the California Legislative Latino Caucus.

"Congresswoman's Sanchez candidacy is an exciting opportunity for Californians to elect their first Latina to the U.S. Senate. Loretta has a proven record of fighting on behalf of working families and advancing the quality of life for Latinos everywhere. If elected, Congresswoman Sanchez would become the first Latina senator in the history of the United States. The primary election for the U.S. Senate contest is on June 7th, 2016 with the top two vote-getters advancing to the November, 2016 general election. The seat is open due to the pending retirement of incumbent Senator Barbara Boxer and is the first open Senate seat in CA in 24 years.
