Governor Kate Brown today appointed Barry Pack, Chief Administrative Officer at the Department of Administrative Services (DAS), to serve as Interim Director of the Oregon Lottery following the removal of Director Jack Roberts.
"I am grateful for Jack's years of service to the Oregon Lottery, but it is time for a leadership change," Governor Brown said. "As we embark on the search for a successor, Barry will bring the skills and experience necessary to step easily into this role."
Barry Pack has served at DAS since December 2012, serving previously as Deputy Chief Operating Officer. Before that, he was Deputy Secretary of State under both Secretaries of State Bill Bradbury and Kate Brown, and Chief of Staff for the Senate Democratic Caucus from 1999-2003. He earned his bachelor of arts degree at Lewis & Clark College.
