Issue Position

Bryan does not support raising taxes. Taxation is meant only to sustain the government, not grow it, but some of our current leaders have expanded the role of the government, which has led directly to higher taxes. We stand opposed to a large overbearing government that seeks to plan and manage every facet of your life. We believe that to lower taxes we must cut the size of government. Taxes should only be high enough to support necessary governmental function.

Once elected Bryan will support the Texas Senate's effort to reduce property taxes for everyone, but especially for Veterans and people over the age of 65.
