One. More. Year.

Date: Jan. 20, 2016

On January 20th, 2017 President Obama's second term will come to an end, ushering in the 45th President of the United States. The following is a statement from State Senator Jim Banks, conservative Republican candidate for Indiana's 3rd Congressional District, regarding President Obama's final year in office.

"365 days from today, America's long national nightmare will finally come to an end. President Obama will depart the Oval Office for the last time, and it is my sincere hope that his failed policies are not far behind. To ensure these policies are replaced, we must nominate a genuine, conservative, Republican. A Republican committed to rebuilding our military so we can take the fight to radical Islamic terrorists that mean to do us harm. A Republican unafraid to face our staggering national debt with axe in hand. And a Republican willing to standup and fight for the religious freedoms this administration has so carelessly tossed aside. It is always darkest just before dawn, and in this final year of Barack Obama's failed presidency, I hope Hoosiers will remember a new dawn is on the horizon."
