Rep. Pete Olson (R-TX) today issued the following statement in response to the news that a group of militants attacked the Pathankot air base in the Punjab region of India:
"In the wake of the recent attacks on the Pathankot air base, it's critical that we stand with our good friend and strong ally, India. My thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families. This act of terror is senseless and only seeks to slow peace talks in the region. The end of the Cold War marked the beginning of the United States and India working together to fight terrorism, and we must remain committed to that goal. By continuing to work together, the United States, India, and Pakistan can combat terrorism and bring peace to the region."
