Issue Position

We need Constitutional Sheriffs who understand the power vested in them is to uphold the Constitution, regardless of "political correctness" of unelected bureaucracies, especially when those bureaucracies are using their power to manipulate and harass innocent citizens.
Our local police officers put their lives on the line for us every day. They deserve our respect and our support. The Obama Administration and the Obama Justice Department have undermined the authority and mission of our police. The police cannot be expected to do their jobs effectively if they are under constant attack in the media and under the threat of prosecution. Davis will work to restore proper jurisdictional boundaries and respect between the various levels of governments.
