Hudson Statement on the President's Rejection of Keystone XL

Statement

Date: Nov. 6, 2015
Location: Washington, DC

Today, U.S. Representative Richard Hudson (NC-08) released the following statement reacting to the announcement that President Obama rejected construction of the Keystone XL pipeline:

"Despite scientific findings from the State Department that the Keystone XL pipeline will not have a significant environmental impact and the fact that the majority of Americans support this critical pro-jobs project, President Obama is blocking construction. This is further proof that this administration is not focused on America's priorities of lower energy costs, more jobs and a stronger economy. By killing the Keystone XL pipeline, President Obama has chosen his left-wing environmentalists who want to end traditional energy production over the American people who want jobs."
