U.S. Representative Mark Walker (NC-06) has introduced the Define It to Fight It Act, a bill that withholds ten percent of United States funding to the United Nations until the intergovernmental organization adopts a definition for "international terrorism."
"Since the 9/11 attacks, the United Nations should have been leading a global response to the increasing threat of terrorism, but they fail to even provide a simple definition to the term "international terrorism,'" Walker said. "In the wake of yet another terrorist attack in Paris, the world still waits on the U.N. to lead and present a clear understanding of what they're fighting. The American taxpayers should not be the largest bankroller for an organization that fails to define what we're up against," Walker added.
