Statement of Solidarity with Israel

Statement

Following recent terrorism developments in Israel, Congressman Doug Lamborn has issued the following statement:

"The current situation, and the escalation of violence against the Jewish people in Israel is intolerable. We must not accept a situation where Israeli citizens live in a state of terror and are continuously forced to look behind their shoulder in fear of another raging stabber or terrorist. The terrorists, some of whom are only 13 or 15 of age, are not lone wolves. This is the direct result of the hate and incitement campaign headed by President Abbas and disseminated in the Palestinian Authority's media outlets and classrooms.

I disapprove of Secretary John Kerry's refusal to hold the Palestinians accountable for these acts of terror. I wish to send my support to Prime Minister Netanyahu and his government in their efforts to curb these threats. Finally I wish to extend my prayers to the victims, their families, and everyone in Israel living under this shadow of fear."
