The House Will Vote on Reconciliation in January

Statement

Date: Dec. 18, 2015
Location: Washington, DC

House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (CA-23) released the following statement announcing a House vote on reconciliation in January:

"As one of our first actions next year, the House will vote on a budget reconciliation bill sending two Republican priorities to the President's desk. The bill will repeal Obamacare, setting America up for a new patient-centered health care system. It will also stop taxpayer dollars from going to abortion providers, like Planned Parenthood, as we continue to investigate allegations of the horrific harvesting of children's organs and the handling of infant lives. Obamacare is a failure, and the videos of grisly Planned Parenthood practices are a stain on our nation's conscience."
