Date: Sept. 4, 2015
Location: Washington, DC

Congressman David B. McKinley, P.E., (WV-1) released the following statement in response to the ruling by Judge Ralph R. Erickson halting implementationof the WOTUS rule in 13 states:

"Once again, the federal courts have thwarted President Obama's unprecedented overreach. In the latest rebuttal, 13 states have received a badly needed reprieve from the EPA's plan to regulate every ditch and puddle in America. The President implemented these rules without Congress, and the courts, like the House, are standing up to his power grabs. Let's hope the President learns his lesson and stops bullying the American people into carrying out his radical agenda."
