This Labor Day we honor the ingenuity, hard work, and sacrifice of those who built our nation. Today, people are working harder than ever but find it harder to get ahead. We need to fix that. The Executive Order signed by President Obama today to guarantee paid sick leave for future employees of federal contractors is a positive step toward ensuring fairness for those working hard and playing by the rules to make ends meet. We must do much more to build an economy that works for all Americans which is why I've put forward an action plan to grow the paychecks of all, not just the wealt‎h of a few."
