Cornyn Commemorates National Hispanic Heritage Month

In recognition of National Hispanic Heritage Month, U.S. Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) introduced a Senate resolution recognizing September 15th through October 15th as a month-long celebration of heritage, culture, and contributions of Latinos in the United States. "The story of Hispanic-Americans and their major cultural and economic contributions to American society is an important part of the fabric of our nation," said Sen. Cornyn. "Their success is America's success, and I'm proud to represent one of the fastest-growing Hispanic-American populations in the United States."

Sen. Cornyn is an Honorary Co-Chair of the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce's Annual National Convention being held in Houston early next week.
