Issue Position

I have the utmost respect and gratitude for all those who serve in our nation's military, and believe it is critical that our active duty military, reservists, and National Guardsmen always receive the support they deserve. As members of our military return to civilian life, we must work to ensure they have access to the quality healthcare, higher education programs, and employment opportunities needed for success. I have consistently supported programs which assist veterans in the creation and growth of small businesses, and worked to expand VA benefits so veterans have greater access to a variety of education and training courses.
