Governor Cuomo Announces Opening of Lake George Boat Launch and Completion of Lake George Beach Parking Lot

Governor Cuomo announced the completion of a $6.3 million project to upgrade the Lake George Boat Launch and the parking lot at Lake George Beach, also known as Million Dollar Beach. The project improves water quality protections and increases recreational access to the lake.

"Lake George is a major economic asset for the region and these improvements will keep the lake both pristine and accessible for years to come," Governor Cuomo said. "I encourage New Yorkers and visitors alike to take a trip to this great New York landmark, and experience the unmatched natural beauty and recreational opportunities for themselves."
