The Capital Investment Finance Division's primary job is to shape the bonding bill legislation that borrows money to pay for publicly owned building projects and state infrastructure investments. This division makes important long-term investments in higher education, the environment, corrections, transportation and local community projects. The goal of the division is to use the state's bonding capacity to best leverage the greatest economic and community development benefit for the state.
