"Arkansas Advocates for Children and Families is a non-profit, non-partisan, child advocacy organization founded in 1977. We are not a state agency and do not provide any direct services to the public. As advocates, we research, educate, debate, dialogue, compromise and rethink childrens issues. We perform an invaluable role for which most other people do not have the time: * We analyze public policy issues. * We make legislation more digestible. * We translate technical intricacies. * We monitor processes. * We calculate impacts. * We lobby."
