Summary

Constitutional Amendment 3 proposes to amend Article 11, Section 2 of the Constitution of New Mexico to remove the duties to charter and regulate corporations from the Public Regulation Commission ("PRC"). It proposes to place only the duty to charter corporations with the Office of the Secretary of State to be carried out in a manner established by the Legislature. Proposing to amend Article 11, Section 2 of the Constitution of New Mexico and to enact a new section of Article 11 to remove authority to charter and regulate corporations from the public regulation commission and provide authority to charter corporations to the secretary of state.

Propone una enmienda al Artículo 11, Sección 2 de la Constitución de Nuevo Mexico y para promulgar una nueva Sección del Articulo 11 para remover la autoridad de conceder carta y regular las corporaciones desde la comisión de
regulación pública y proveer autoridad para conceder carta las corporaciones a la secretaria de estado.
