I don't support elimination of the fedl estate tax as generally only upper income families must pay this-----however, I do realize that families with wealth mainly in large holdings of farm land may not have ready cash-on-hand so I would support some sort of "carve-out" for them, to maintain farmland ownership in their hands for agricultural use, & not require it to be sold (which is often for real estate development) & certainly not require it to be sold at auction, for below-market prices. |

I'm encouraged to hear that use of nasal stem cells from an ill patient may result in improvement in some conditions, but I find it troubling that a court has now enjoined stem cell research from continuing as projects already begun will probably be damaged. However, for the sake of patients who have hoped to benefit from this research, other countries will continue stem cell research which may benefit them. |
