The NC General Assembly must continue to focus on education and the environment as its two top priorities. Increase teacher salaries, lower classroom size, focus on basics and character education. Environmental funding needs to be directed to water quality issues both funded by government downsizing and reprioritizing, etc., of existing monies and user fees.
