The issue I would like to focus on is Juvenile Justice. I believe that appropriate early intervention with offenders with an outcome-based approach is our responsibilty and in the end, the most cost effective way to stem recidivism. In addition, balancing the tax burden between property, sales and income taxes; appropriate school funding; the on going oversight of LD#1; and continuing the great start we have made with Dirigo Health are issues of importance. |
