William Thompson repeatedly refused to provide any responses to citizens on the issues through the 2008 Political Courage Test when asked to do so by national leaders of the political parties, prominent members of the media, Project Vote Smart President Richard Kimball, and Project Vote Smart staff.

I want to use my 33 years as an educator to help create a public school system which matches the quality of this fine state and prepares our students to excel in their lives after school. South Dakota needs to designate an anticipated Internet sales tax to education so that funding can be inflation or 3%, whichever is more. I am also concerned about senior citizens and a safe and productive environment.
