| My top priority for this next term is comprehensive tax reform, with a focus on simplification, greater tax fairness, and policies that allow for infrastructure investments and in other ways encourage sustainable economic growth. I also intend to continue my efforts to empower more decision-making at the local level and encourage the regionalization of services as appropriate. We also need to stay the course and, if possible, accelerate progress on healthcare and education reform. |
