We have a mandate to balance our budget, it is in FL Constitution. Also we should never tap into our Rainy day funds, those are for catastrophic issues, such as hurricanes and other disasters.

The public /state sector employees should also be purged. Since construction and buildings are at a standstill, there should be a reduction in employees who service those industries.

FL has eight year term limits for all Cabinet and Legislative bodies. Extending that to 12 years would be ideal.

States have a duty to protect its borders if the federal government does not care to do so.

I did a bill that would require that an illigal immigrant in our FL jails for a NON violent crime should be sent home to their native country, and if they returned to the state and committed other crimes their jail terms would be doubled, unfortunately this bill did not make it out of all it's committees.

Since FL is the Sunshine State, we should be on the cutting edge of solar energy. Currently we import all our solar panels from Asia, and assembling them here in the USA. We need to be manufacturing them here.

I did a bill early on that did away with sales taxes on all solar appuratuses.

While in the Legislature the past 6 years, as an engineer, I have focused on water and natural resources as my priorities. I would like to continue the work that I have started balancing the competing interests of Agriculture, tourism, the natural systems, and flood control.
