My priorities include, first, doing everything possible to defend the nation against terrorist attacks. We also need to make permanent the recent changes reducing the tax burden. These changes will expire in a few years if no action is taken and taxes will increase. Another priority is to improve transportation infrastructure. No additional funding is required because gasoline taxes paid into the trust fund intended for transportation needs have been used instead for general spending. |
