Please explain in a total of 100 words or less, your top two or three priorities if elected. If they require additional funding for implementation, please explain how you would obtain this funding.

My top priority as Congressman for the 17th Congressional District is economic development in our local communities. As Vice-Chairman of the Agriculture Committee, my support for rural development, energy, and conservation initiatives will help our rural economy. As the senior Pennsylvanian on the Transportation Committee, I was successful in securing $46 million in the last highway bill, which equates to roughly 2,000 new jobs alone. I work with local officials to identify and fund the necessary economic development projects in my district. It is the responsibility of every Member of Congress to fight for worthy projects for their district.
