My priorities are: Continuing the push for civil rights and civil liberties, such as the full repeal of the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA), through passage of my bill the Respect for Marriage Act (RMA), reforming the state secrets privilege, and reforms of NSA surveillance abuses. Increasing investment in transportation infrastructure including transit and rail freight. Pursue policies of investment in infrastructure and other stimulative activities that promote economic-growth. Pursue measures to reduce the growing economic inequality in which almost all the benefits of economic growth go to the top 1% of the population and the bottom 90% lose income.
