(1) Eliminate the Statewide Property Tax. It is nothing but an accounting trick, a sham and a fraud, pitting one town against another unnecessarily while raising only $32M of new money. Revert that tax to a local tax where local taxpayers would have control rather than having the state mandate the tax rate.
