What is the Political Courage Test?

North Carolina Congressional Election 2014 Political Courage Test

Pro-choice Do you generally support pro-choice or pro-life legislation?
Personal & Religious belief that any man should have the final say by word or law, as to a woman's decision to a personal intimate matter such as this.
No In order to balance the budget, do you support reducing defense spending?
No In order to balance the budget, do you support an income tax increase on any tax bracket?
I have a plan to increase jobs, increase revenue, stabilize the economy, fund needed programs and with this there should be no need for increasing taxes. I have a plan that would make "minimum wage" "tax free" for every citizen/worker thus giving everyone working a raise and making it easier for employers to keep their doors open.
Yes Do you support the regulation of indirect campaign contributions from corporations and unions?
In NC First District there are no funds available for anyone. I do support monitoring any and all groups of special interests.
Yes Do you support capital punishment for certain crimes?
Yes Do you support federal spending as a means of promoting economic growth?
Yes Do you support lowering taxes as a way of promoting growth in the economy?
Yes Do you support providing tax incentives to businesses for the purpose of job creation?
Research and development toward new and innovative products/services which then create openings for new employees. It would allow upper mobility for current employees. The incentives should be distributed where justifiable need exist. Incentives should be focused inward to initiate a statewide program of creativity among our citizens. Yes Do you support requiring states to implement education reforms in order to be eligible for competitive federal grants?
In view of the major cutback of funding for education we will need reform prior to requesting funds. We have obviously weakened the Dept. of Education through needless cuts and political bias.
Yes Do you support building the Keystone XL pipeline?
No Do you support reducing restrictions on offshore energy production?
I do support constant monitoring of the activity and reserve funds of those companies to cover losses and/or clean-ups in the event they occur. We need pursue more alternative energy resources in order to reduce costs to citizens.
No Do you believe that human activity is contributing to climate change?
No Do you support the federal regulation of greenhouse gas emissions?
No Do you support restrictions on the purchase and possession of guns?
The 2nd Amendment Rights would trump this. We need to protect the Right to Bear Arms for all citizens and the stand your ground laws. Guns in public places for example restaurants, theatres, schools should be more closely monitored and safety procedures implemented to avoid accidental injuries or certain psychotic breaks with reality.
No Do you support repealing the 2010 Affordable Care Act?
The expense involved and administrative glitches to be expected would cost too much hardship on patients and unnecessary time spent by providers. Modifications to the Act to return it to Medicare/Medicaid which is essentially what is can be made as errors occur or opportunities of change arise.
Yes Do you support requiring illegal immigrants to return to their country of origin before they are eligible for citizenship?
Each case should be reviewed individually as to legalizing individual status as contrasted with incarceration, healthcare and transportation cost of the deportation.
No Do you support same-sex marriage?
Yes Do you support targeting suspected terrorists outside of official theaters of conflict?
Yes Should the U.S use military force in order to prevent governments hostile to the United States from possessing a nuclear weapon?
All terrorist should be eliminated where-ever they may be if they remotely jeopardize the security and safety of the United States.
Yes Do you support allowing individuals to divert a portion of their Social Security taxes into personal retirement accounts?
I already have a plan that would allow each citizen to retire on a program of there individual design. See website.
