Yes do you support reducing Medicaid spending?
Yes do you support reducing Medicare spending?
Yes Is balancing the budget a legislative priority?
Yes Maintaining an arsenal of old nuclear weapons is a waste. Yes Advocate Medicaid program be turned over to states with smooth transition i.e. http://bit.ly/JydSaB Yes Advocate Medicare and entitlement programs be turned over to states/individuals with smooth transition i.e. http://markmemoly.newsvine.com/_news/2012/03/30/10942342-ideas-for-us-budget-our-entitlement-programs Yes balancing budget is paramount and am very mindful of President Jefferson's quote "It is incumbent on every generation to pay its own debts as it goes. A principle which if acted on would save one-half the wars of the world." Reducing redundancy in government will free up resources to strengthen our energy and transportation infrastructure i.e. http://www.gao.gov/products/GAO-11-318SP
Yes Do you support the regulation of indirect campaign contributions from corporations and unions?
Yes I adhere to F.E.C. regulations.
Yes Do you support capital punishment for certain crimes?
Yes and believe we can minimize children committing crimes with information that inspires individuals to do well i.e. Best Practices of CEOs http://1Time.Us .
Yes Do you support federal spending as a means of promoting economic growth?
Yes Do you support providing tax incentives to businesses for the purpose of job creation?
Yes Do you support spending on infrastructure projects for the purpose of job creation?
No Do you support the temporary extension of unemployment benefits?
Yes Do you support the 2010 temporary extension of tax relief?
Yes to strengthen our infrastructure and families i.e. F.A.A. . Yes Mark Memoly believes incentives for specific actions to be done such as Claycomo plant expansion creates jobs and generates revenue. Support for families is also advocated i.e. medical healthcare insurance should be a tax deductible item on Form 1040 similar to having a child. Instead of penalizing people for not having healthcare insurance let's encourage people to purchase it. Yes strengthening infrastructure to 21st century standards is important No because I want to employ people with programs advocated on http://Memoly.org Yes reducing taxes will be my U.S. Senate focus.
No Do you support requiring states to implement education reforms in order to be eligible for competitive federal grants?
No, I believe offering communities programs to reduce curriculum costs should be our approach and this will minimize expenses nationwide. These programs will keep parents in charge of educating children is our goal. I would like America to offer School Vouchers http://bit.ly/N9CPuH
Yes Do you support reducing restrictions on offshore energy production?
Yes, a person cannot see past eight miles off shore. Transitioning to an economy utilizing renewable energy sources is sustainable and Iceland offers a good example. I also encourage people to see http://www.eere.energy.gov/
Yes Do you believe that human activity is contributing to climate change?
Yes Do you support the federal regulation of greenhouse gas emissions?
Yes, minimizing carbon footprint helps everyone i.e. http://corporate.ford.com/our-company/sustainability Yes I believe building with the EPA Carbon Pollution Standard is in our long term interest and that is a better alternative than the initial Cap & Trade policy.
Yes Do you support restrictions on the purchase and possession of guns?
Yes I support existing gun laws.
Yes Do you support repealing the 2010 Affordable Care Act?
No Should individuals be required to purchase health insurance, as mandated in the 2010 Affordable Care Act?
The Pre-Existing Condition clause is important and I advocate that Healthcare insurance be a tax deductible item similar to a tax credit for a child. Current law acts like a penalty rather than a tax credit and requires enforcement. Having an IRS 1040 tax deduction will be similar to A + plus A + = Positive. To work effectively people require good health and we can give everyone a chance to generate income without increasing scope of government minimizing everyone's taxes. Under the Memoly Health Care Plan a person will have to purchase health insurance to receive a tax credit.
Yes Do you support requiring illegal immigrants to return to their country of origin before they are eligible for citizenship?
Yes Do you support allowing illegal immigrants, who were brought to the United States as minors, to pursue citizenship without returning to their country of origin?

Our immigration laws should be enforced and I have recommended the following policy lnkd.in/nxGnC8 . I am a 10th Amendment advocate
Yes Do you support same-sex marriage?
Yes with a but http://ati123.newsvine.com/_news/2010/08/04/4818953-gay-marriage-with-a-but . Please see additional ideas on http://www.memoly.org/The_Issues.html .
No Do you support targeting suspected terrorists outside of official theaters of conflict?
No Should the U.S use military force in order to prevent Iran from possessing a nuclear weapon?
No, having freedom is honoring everyone's freedom and an idea to consider "As technology advances we are able to minimize sending men and women into battle." In other words, with satellite technology we are able to protect America without sending people into battle or unnecessarily endangering lives. No, because of Missile Defense System http://www.mda.mil/ Whenever something is proposed by our Pentagon I will ask three questions: 1) Are we purchasing the latest technology available meeting our standards of Reliability? 2) Are we getting the Best Value for our investment? 3) Is it in America's Best Interest passing the Risk/Benefit test?
Yes Do you support allowing individuals to divert a portion of their Social Security taxes into personal retirement accounts?
Yes, please see ideas offered on http://markmemoly.newsvine.com/_news/2012/03/30/10942342-ideas-for-us-budget-our-entitlement-programs
