Our Military is in Afghanistan to defeat and destroy Al Qaeda and the Taliban. Our mission should be a clear cut plan to defeat the enemies of the United states of America. We should leave Afghanistan when we have defeated those that endanger our country.

In order to balance the budget,

I do not support cuts in Medicare or Medicaid benefits for those 55 and older, but these programs are currently unsustainable. Adjustments must be made or they will be insolvent in a just a few years.

The Federal Budget must be balanced with cuts in spending and not with tax increases. The Federal Government must begin spending less than it takes in until the national debt is eliminated then spend no more than it takes in.

90% of education monies are taken from local communities but 80-90% of the regulations are imposed by the Federal Government. I support eliminating the Department of Education and returning control back to state and local school districts.

I believe that our Founders were inspired by God and they knew that a Government composed of mere human beings could not be trusted with absolute power. They put the 2nd Amendment into our Constitution to ensure that the People would always be stronger than our Government. "Shall Not Be Infringed" means just what it says. The Federal Government has absolutely no right to keep "We the People" from having and bearing firearms. I will oppose any law that infringes on the God given, Constitutionally guaranteed right to have and bear arms.

I oppose Obamacare and any other Federal Government involvement in people's healthcare. The history of the Federal Government?s interference and intrusion in this vital area is clear; higher costs, expensive bureaucracy, fewer innovations and poorer results. America's private health care system is the envy of the world. Costs have risen much faster on the Government-paid side (Medicare and Medicaid) than on the private sector side. Tort reform is needed and I will fight to accomplish that. Competition is the key to lower costs, better coverage and more innovations.

I am committed to our national sovereignty. Our borders must be secured and stay secure. The current porous border reality is inexcusable and a substantial danger to our national security. I oppose "Anchor Baby" citizenship and believe it is unconstitutional. If the Supreme Court does not reverse this mistaken presumption, I support a Constitutional Amendment denying citizenship to children of illegal aliens. I have served proudly and honorably in our country's military and support an exception for those who have served honorably in our military.

I agree with the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA). Marriage is a union, under God and under the State of one man and one woman. Marriage has been the foundation of civilizations worldwide for thousands of years. It is the glue that holds civil societies together. I support a Constitutional amendment that enshrines "traditional marriage" and disallows newly created aberrations. Children do best in traditional marriage homes, there is no dispute. All children are gifts to us and I support every loving parent, biological, adoptive, step or foster, that loves and cares for their child or children.

Terrorism is the unacceptable philosophy and practice of harming or threatening to harm noncombatants anywhere and everywhere. Those who do so deserve no respect or mercy. Terrorist are the perpetrators of this sick, twisted, immoral and despicable philosophy. I will support the rooting out and destruction of these terrorists and their supporters. Military force should be used a last resort but Iran cannot be allowed to obtain such a destructive mechanism.

Workers under 55 should have the option of investing over one third of their current Social Security taxes into personal retirement accounts, similar to the Thrift Savings Plan available to Federal employees. This should include a property right so they can pass on these assets to their heirs, and a guarantee that individuals will not lose a dollar they contribute to their accounts, even after inflation.

The cost of Government is dramatically more than whatever good it may or may not do. A free market and free enterprise built the greatest economy and the greatest standard of living the world has ever seen. People at our lowest economic rung are better off than 90% of the rest of the people on the planet. I believe in and will fight for our system to allow everyone to reach the level of their efforts and gifts. Our Constitution limits the Federal Governments powers and I will follow the dictates of the Constitution.

I am a fiscal conservative. I will fight for smaller government, balanced budgets, fewer regulations, and absolutely no earmarks. I am an advocate of the Fair Tax, a consumption tax, which must be accompanied with the elimination of all Federal Income Tax on individuals and corporations. Our economy and jobs will drastically improve when the federal government gets out of the way. I believe in and will fight for our system to allow everyone to reach the level of their efforts and gifts. Our Constitution limits the Federal Governments powers and I will follow the dictates of the Constitution.

Repeal Obamacare (The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act).
Balance the Federal Budget without raising taxes.
Grow the jobs market and small businesses by reducing burdensome taxes and regulations.
