Pro-lifeCandidate AnswerDo you generally support pro-choice or pro-life legislation?

YesCandidate AnswerDo you support United States' combat operations in Afghanistan?
NoDo you support a timetable for withdrawal from Afghanistan?

I support our troops regardless where deployed. And I supported our initial mission in Afghanistan. We have met that objective, which was to capture or kill OBL and so I believe we must begin our withdrawal.

Indicate which proposals you support (if any) for balancing the federal budget.
In order to balance the budget,
YesCandidate Answerdo you support reducing defense spending?
NoCandidate Answerdo you support an income tax increase on any tax bracket?
Yesdo you support reducing Medicaid spending?
Yesdo you support reducing Medicare spending?
YesIs balancing the budget a legislative priority?
Other or expanded principles

Every area of government has inefficiencies so reducing spending in practically every program is a must. Additionally, we need to prioritize our spending and eliminate programs and line items that do not meet a much more limited scope of Federal government responsibility. Finally, the budgeting system itself must be changed from what is called base lined budgeting (automatic increases) to a zero based budgeting system where budgeted numbers are challenged based upon actual requirements.

NoDo you support the regulation of indirect campaign contributions from corporations and unions?
Other or expanded principles

Generally speaking the Federal government is way to involved in regulating.

YesDo you support capital punishment for certain crimes?
Other or expanded principles
NoCandidate AnswerDo you support federal spending as a means of promoting economic growth?
NoCandidate AnswerDo you support providing tax incentives to businesses for the purpose of job creation?
NoDo you support spending on infrastructure projects for the purpose of job creation?
YesDo you support the temporary extension of unemployment benefits?
YesDo you support the 2010 temporary extension of tax relief?
Other or expanded principles

We must simplify our income tax system by reducing or eliminating incentives which are also know as loopholes. Both Democrats and Republicans have created these incentives. Business owners need consistency in order to have confidence to invest in our economy and grow. Inconsistent tax policy, needs to be re-evaluated and changed.

NoCandidate AnswerDo you support requiring states to implement education reforms in order to be eligible for competitive federal grants?

We must get the Federal government out of education.

NoDo you believe that human activity is contributing to climate change?
NoCandidate AnswerDo you support the federal regulation of greenhouse gas emissions?
Other or expanded principles
NoCandidate AnswerDo you support restrictions on the purchase and possession of guns?

This question is inappropriately skewed. Of course some restrictions are required but I read this question implies a substantial level of restrictions.

YesCandidate AnswerDo you support repealing the 2010 Affordable Care Act?
NoShould individuals be required to purchase health insurance, as mandated in the 2010 Affordable Care Act?

NoDo you support allowing illegal immigrants, who were brought to the United States as minors, to pursue citizenship without returning to their country of origin?
YesDo you support the enforcement of federal immigration law by state and local police?
Other or expanded principles

I especially am concerned about the so called sanctuary city where immigration rules are not enforced. Any city that does not enforce all laws, including immigration laws, should have Federal funding withheld.

NoCandidate AnswerDo you support same-sex marriage?
Other or expanded principles

I believe that marriage is between a man and woman.

YesCandidate AnswerDo you support targeting suspected terrorists outside of official theaters of conflict?
NoShould the U.S use military force in order to prevent Iran from possessing a nuclear weapon?

These questions are totally unfair because many readers will read a decrease in taxes as less tax collection. I believe that lower tax rates can generate more tax revenue.

Please explain in a total of 100 words or less, your top two or three priorities if elected. If they require additional funding for implementation, please explain how you would obtain this funding.

My top priority is to see this economy and jobs grow. We must streamline Federal government spending, reduce burdensome regulations, force Congress to do their jobs which means taking back their jobs as the law writer from the executive branch where unelected bureaucrats are doing much of the law writing. Additionally, Congress is responsible for the financial stewardship of this country and they are absolutely failing.
