We must get the money to the people to spend and also must reduce taxes on businesses so they can hire. Alcohol and cigarettes taxes should be raised so that people who use these items who end up in E.R. rooms might consider stop using these to items.

Human activity is contributing to climate change in a very small way but so is everything else. Federal regulations of greenhouse gas emissions will kill the rebound in jobs etc. Offshore energy should be allowed as well as coal and other sources until an alternative energy source by private investers can be found that is cheap and safe.

My priorities are one to get a balanced budget and get rid of the 14 1/2 TRILLION deficit by implementing a balanced budget amendment and also only allowing the spending 1 1/2 trillion dollars less than revenue that comes into the government yearly until that goal is reached. Overhaul of the tax code and reduction of tax loopholes. Reduce federal government payroll by 3% per year.
