YesCandidate Answerdo you support reducing Medicaid spending?
YesCandidate Answerdo you support reducing Medicare spending?
YesCandidate AnswerIs balancing the budget an administrative priority?
Other or expanded principles

Balancing the budget is my top priority. I want to have audit teams that will go to the various governement departments audit for wasteful governement spending. They will report directly to me and I want to propose directly to congress every month with a list of wasteful spending and amending the budget to eliminate the wasteful spending.

Greatly Decreasel) Welfare
m) Other or expanded categories

Until the budget is balanced and we actually have a surplus, I will want to eliminate all projectets that are not absolutly necessary. When the federal debt is paid off then I hope that many of these programs can be restored without causing the federal government to go into debt again.

Taxes
Indicate what federal tax levels (#1-6) you support for the following general categories. Select one number per category; you can use a number more than once.

Slightly Decreaseg) Income taxes (middle-income families)
Maintain Statush) Income taxes (high-income families)
Eliminatei) Inheritance taxes
Slightly Decreasej) Payroll taxes
k) Other or expanded categories

I want to simplify the tax code, eliminate the earned income tax credit and eliminate the alternative minimum tax credit. I support having laws written in "plain english" so they can be understood by most Americans. I want to require that all members of congress to have to personally prepare their return by hand (ie with the use of a computer) and afterward have their return prepared by their accountant and the difference made public. This will keep congress from passing complex tax laws.

YesDo you support the regulation of indirect campaign contributions from corporations and unions?
Other or expanded principles

I believe that only individuals should be able to contribut to campains.

YesDo you support capital punishment for certain crimes?
Other or expanded principles

I think every federal prisioner should be canned every 6 months to experience sever physical pain for their crimes. I would cut in half the length of prision terms believing that the pain is a punishment and deterrent to future crimes. I would let the jury decided if some should be put to death or experience physical pain for the rest of their natural life.

NoCandidate AnswerDo you support federal spending as a means of promoting economic growth?
NoCandidate AnswerDo you support providing tax incentives to businesses for the purpose of job creation?
YesCandidate AnswerDo you support spending on infrastructure projects for the purpose of job creation?
NoDo you support the 2010 temporary extension of unemployment benefits?
YesDo you support the 2010 temporary extension of tax relief?
Other or expanded principles

I would make the tax relief permanent. I think taxes should be lower for all individuals and corporations.

YesCandidate AnswerDo you support requiring states to implement education reforms in order to be eligible for competitive federal grants?
Other or expanded principles

States must improve their educational systems in order to receive federal grants.

NoDo you believe that human activity is contributing to climate change?
YesCandidate AnswerDo you support the federal regulation of greenhouse gas emissions?
NoCandidate AnswerDo you support reducing restrictions on offshore energy production?
Other or expanded principles

I would encourange finding and using the gas and oil found in the US and offshore instead of sending our money to foreign countries. I would greatly increase oil exploration in Alaska and offshore.

YesCandidate AnswerDo you support United States' combat operations in Afghanistan?
YesDo you support a timetable for withdrawal from Afghanistan?
NoCandidate AnswerDo you support targeting suspected terrorists outside of official theaters of conflict?
Other or expanded principles

I think our troops should be totally out of Afghanistan. We will never eliminate all the bad people in the world and it's wasteful to even try. I would bring our troops back home and concentrate on protecting the boarders and land of the US. I would be very hesitant to use US troops for any purpose except for protecting our country.

YesCandidate AnswerDo you support restrictions on the purchase and possession of guns?
Other or expanded principles

I am a gun owner and enjoy shooting guns. I also have a "permit to carry" from the State of Tennessee. I would want to restrict gun owners to only responsible adults. I think you should have some degree of training and understanding of the laws before anyone should be able to purchase a gun. Mine was a half-day class and I think that is sufficant. anyone convicted of a felony for a lifetime would never be able to own or possess as gun.

YesCandidate AnswerDo you support repealing the 2010 Affordable Care Act?
NoCandidate AnswerShould individuals be required to purchase health insurance, as mandated in the 2010 Affordable Care Act?
Other or expanded principles

I would want to concentrate on reducing the cost of health care. Then if someone wants to pay for health cost from their own pocket that would be ok. I believe that making everyone have health insurance only makes health care cost go up. Greatly reduce doctor's and hospital's need to practice defensive medicine and deliver on the health care that is needed.

YesCandidate AnswerDo you support requiring illegal immigrants to return to their country of origin before they are eligible for citizenship?
NoDo you support allowing illegal immigrants, who were brought to the United States as minors, to pursue citizenship without returning to their country of origin?
YesDo you support the enforcement of federal immigration law by state and local police?
Other or expanded principles

I beleive that all immigrants should be allowed to work in this courty for 2 years and then have to return to their country for 1 full year. After 1 year they would be allowed to return to the US to work but would have to prove they have not outstanding tax liabilities or consumer debt. Immigrants would have to pay a 8% fee on their earnings for the cost of this program. No child would be an American citizen unless one parent is an American citizen. Immigrants are vistors and vistors only.

NoCandidate AnswerDo you support same-sex marriage?
Other or expanded principles

Marriage should only be between a man and a woman. I someone wants to be homosexual that is their choice but they get no special treamement. They are simple two unmarried people of the same sex who live together. They should not be discriminated against or given an special treatment because of their lifestyle.

YesCandidate AnswerDo you support allowing individuals to divert a portion of their Social Security taxes into personal retirement accounts?
Other or expanded principles

I believe that people who pay into the Social Security system should expect to get their money back plus a modest return on their investment. However I do support that individuals who have more that $ 100,000 in income should not be able to receive Social Security benefit but a tax deduction for the benefits they did not receive.

Please explain in a total of 100 words or less, your top two or three priorities if elected. If they require additional funding for implementation, please explain how you would obtain this funding.

1. Reducing wasteful governement spending and creating a budget surplus
2. Bringing canning into the criminal justice system
3. Solving immigration

No additional funding would be required for any of these priorities.
