I support infrastructure programs (water/sewer/roads) because they are necessary for the continued growth of our state and nation, NOT just for the purposes of busy work. Without adequate infrastructure, all commerce suffers. I support tax breaks or incentives for companies that provide industries we need, and have difficulty attracting, that can demonstrate their ability to provide jobs for Montanans. I support a regulatory environment which is clear so that developers of land ,or, resources have predictability and can determine exactly what the requirements are to do business here.

Medical Marijuana should be handled like any other prescription drug. Prescribed by a doctor, manufactured in a state authorized and monitored facility, distributed by a pharmacy. If this can not be achieved, than its use shouldn't be allowed.

My priorities will still be infrastructure and the economy, as I believe they are interrelated. The state still needs to direct more funds into this area which will allow smaller communities to address these issues without federal support, which is both problematic and limited. Communities with adequate infrastructure will continue to expand both tax base and job opportunities. Property Rights must be respected and in many cases restored. I intend to devote much of my time to legislation which addresses this issue which is paramount to the preservation of our personal freedoms.
