On items D and E, this comes with certain restrictions. We have to have the services in place in order to reduce medicaid responsibly number one, and number two furloughs should be done in a way that doesn't cause the employee to risk caring for their family. The single Mom with kids who can't afford it should be able to give her days to someone who can and is willing. We can accomplish layoffs best by attrition of unfilled positions and reducing the administration, not the ground level workers that are needed.

Government needs to get out of marriage. Why should any couple need to pay the government money to get permission to form a union? People should be free to follow the practices they believe in without the government's involvement.

Please explain in a total of 100 words or less, your top two or three priorities if elected. If they require additional funding for implementation, please explain how you would obtain this funding.

Our top priority has to be to our state budget. We must first reduce spending and then reduce the burden increased taxes and fees have created on our citizens. The downshifting of cost to counties has to stop. We must also change our business licensing practices and decrease our business taxes in order to attract more jobs to our state. Bottom line our budget and job creation must be our priority.
