A vote to pass a resolution that amends the state constitution, on voter approval, to prohibit preferential treatment or discrimination based on race, sex, color, ethnicity or national origin.

-Prohibits public employers, public schools, and public contractors from giving preferential treatment to or discriminating against any individual or group based on race, sex, color, ethnicity or national origin in the state of Arizona (Sec. 36). -Provides exceptions based on sex necessary "to the normal operation of public employment, public education or public contracting" (Sec. 36). -Excludes actions that must be taken to maintain eligibility for any federal programs (Sec. 36).
