Vote to pass a bill that prohibits smoking in vehicles when minors are present.
Highlights:
-Prohibits smoking in a vehicle with persons under age eighteen (Sec. 1). -Establishes an initial fine of no less than $50 for each minor present (civil penalty), whereupon each following violation the fine increases by $50 for each minor in the vehicle (Sec. 1). -Establishes the violation as a nonmoving civil traffic violation (Sec. 1).
