Title: Ethanol Bill
Vote to indefinitely postpone a bill that requires automotive gasoline with an octane level of 87 to be between 9.2 percent and 10 percent ethanol, beginning October 1, 2006 with exceptions for gasoline sold at racetracks for racing events. The bill allows a gasoline retailer to apply for a waiver from this requirement if the retailer is unable to obtain enough gasoline that meets the requirement and stipulates that this waiver cannot last longer than seven days.
