Highlights:
-Requires the Louisiana State Board of Dentistry to adopt rules regulating dental services at mobile dental clinics (Sec. 1). -Requires that dentists working at a mobile dental clinic receive a permit from the Louisiana Board of Dentistry and permission from the school or location in which their clinic is established (Sec. 1). -Requires all mobile dental practices to be in compliance with these rules by January 1, 2010 (Sec. 1). -Requires any dentist providing mobile dental services to maintain a minimum of one million dollars in medical malpractice liability insurance (Sec. 1).
