Vote to pass a bill that would adjust the minimum wage annually using the consumer price index.

-Increases the minimum wage annually beginning on 01/01/2011 by an amount equal to the U.S. Department of Labor consumer price index for the northeast region (Sec. 1). -Requires that no annual minimum wage increase exceed 3% (Sec. 1). -Requires that the department of labor notify Rhode Island employers of minimum wage increases by mail at least 45 days in advance (Sec. 1).
