Vote to pass a bill that increases restrictions on drivers licenses, state ID's, and commercial licenses regarding their acquisition, records kept by the Department of Motor Vehicles regarding licenses and ID cards, and the information displayed on those cards.

Highlights:

-Requires drivers licenses, state ID cards, and commercial drivers licenses to include the holders permanent address, unless exempt (Secs.3,4,5). -Requires applicants for a state ID, drivers license, and commercial license to provide proof of name, age, principal address, social security number, and legal status. If an applicant does not meet these requirements, the applicant may still get a card if they meet the Director's specific regulations (Secs.11,26,32). -Requires that the Department of Motor Vehicles maintain digital images of all license applications for at least 10 years (Sec.19). -Requires that the Department of Motor Vehicles maintain copies for no less than 10 years of all applicants' proof of name, age, principal address, social security number, and legal status (Sec.22).
