Title: Washoe County Fluoridation

Vote to pass a bill that mandates the Truckee Meadows Water Authority to fluoridate its water without public consultation, and put the matter to a public advisory vote two years after the fluoridation.
Highlights:
-Adopts regulations requiring the fluoridation of all water used for human consumption in counties with a population of 100,000 or more (Sec. 2).
-Places an advisory question on the general election ballot for November 2, 2010 in each county whose population is more than 100,000 but less than 400,000, asking whether the public water system in the county should cease the fluoridation of water (Sec. 4).
-Sections 1 and 2 become effective upon passage of act. Section 4 becomes effective on 01 October 2009 (Sec. 5).
