Vote to pass an amendment to S.67 allowing eligible men to concurrently apply for a driver's license and selective service.
Highlights:
-Declares the signature on the application for an operator license, commercial driver license, or non-driver I.D. shall serve as registration with the Selective Service System for applicable candidates (Sec. 17, 18, 19). -Requires commissioner to add the statement "By submitting or signing this application, I am consenting to registration with the Selective Service System, if so required by law, unless I have checked the 'opt out' box" to applications for an operator license or commercial driver license (Sec. 16).
