Vote on a motion to advance a bill to third reading that expands in-state tuition eligibility to any individual, regardless of their immigration status, who has attended a Colorado high school for at least 3 years, graduated, and been accepted by an in-state college or university within one year of graduation.
-Requires individuals, other than minors, who qualify for in-state tuition but are not lawfully present in the U.S. to submit an affidavit to the college or university indicating that they have filled an application to become a permanent resident or will file the application as soon as they are eligible to do so in order to obtain in-state tuition (Sec. 1).
-Specifies that individuals who qualify for in-state tuition but are not lawfully present in the U.S. are not eligible for a stipend from the College Opportunity Fund (Sec. 1).
