Vote to concur with House amendments and pass a bill that requires state public notices to be posted in a newspaper and on a website established collectively by Utah's newspapers beginning January 1, 2010, and requires first and second class counties to publish notices on the same website beginning January 1, 2012.

Highlights:
  • Authorizes first and second class counties to publish notices in a newspaper, in addition to posting them on the website as required by this Act (Sec. 140).
  • Specifies that the notices affected by this Act include legal notices required for judicial proceedings or by judicial decision, and notices required to be made available to the public by a state statute or a state agency rule (Sec. 140).
