Vote to pass a bill that would raise the minimum wage from $2.65 to $7.25 beginning on January 1st 2010.

Highlights:
-Requires employers to cover the difference if tipped employees do not make enough in tips combined with a minimum wage of $2.13 an hour to equal $7.25 an hour (Sec.1). -Allows employers to pay new employees who are under 20 years old a wage of $4.25 an hour for their first 90 days of employment (Sec. 1).
