Vote to pass a bill that authorizes the school board of any school district to establish a 4 day school week by majority vote, provided that the board ensures that the school calendar fulfills a minimum of 142 days and 1,044 hours of pupil attendance, whereas a 5 day school week requires 174 days and the same number of hours of pupil attendance.
