Vote to pass a bill that amends various existing laws for the purpose of implementing savings adjustments to the state fiscal plan.
- -Increases the authorized amount from $60 million to $361 million for fiscal year 2008-2009, provided that $50 million is paid within 30 days of enactment (existing law), $119 million is paid by January 30, 2009, and $182 million is paid by March 27, 2009;
-Increases the authorized amount from $35 million to $210 million for fiscal year 2009-2010, provided that $103 million is paid within 180 days of enactment (up from $25 million within 30 days of enactment, as provided by existing law), and $107 million is paid by March 26, 2010; and
-Repeals the authorized amount of $35 million for fiscal year 2010-2011.
