Title: Gray Wolf Management Plan Amendments
Vote to pass a bill that amends the state's gray wolf management plan, provided that the federal government removes gray wolves from the list of endangered species.
- - At least seven breeding pairs of wolves exist at the end of the current calandar year within the state and primarily outside of Yellowstone National Park, Grand Teton National Park, and John D. Rockefeller, Jr. Memorial Parkway (the only requirement according to existing law); or
- At least fifteen breeding pairs of wolves exist within the state if the Commission enters into a memoranda of understanding with the national park service regarding wolf management within Yellowstone National Park, Grand Teton National Park, and John D. Rockefeller, Jr. Memorial Parkway (additional requirement supplemented by this Act).
